Ray McKinnon is an American actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer who won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for The Accountant (2001). He graduated with a Theatre degree from Valdosta State University and co-founded Ginny Mule Pictures with his late wife, Lisa Blount, and Walton Goggins. McKinnon has appeared in notable films such as Ford v Ferrari (2019), News of the World (2020), and Chaos Walking (2021). He was married to Lisa Blount from 1998 until her passing in 2010. Knox Goes Away is set for release in 2024.
