Rashad Evans is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion who gained prominence after winning the heavyweight division of The Ultimate Fighter 2. He has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is recognized as one of the top fighters in his weight class. In addition to his fighting career, Evans appeared in the film Locked Down (2010). He lost the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship to Lyoto Machida at UFC 98 by knockout.
