Ranjith is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor who made his directorial debut with Ravanaprabhu in 2001. He has directed several notable films in Malayalam cinema, including Thirakkatha (2008), which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film, and Indian Rupee (2011), also a recipient of the same award. Other significant works include Paleri Manikyam (2009) and Pranchiyettan & the Saint (2010). Ranjith's recent projects include Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020) and Mukundan Unni Associates™ (2022).
