Randy Travis is an American country singer and actor who made his film debut in the television special Wind in the Wire (1992). He has recorded over a dozen studio albums and achieved significant success on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, with sixteen singles reaching Number One. Travis gained prominence in the mid-1980s with his album Storms of Life, which sold over three million copies and established him as a neotraditionalist country artist.
