Ramesh Sippy is a Pakistani film director and producer who directed the landmark film Sholay (1975). He has also worked on notable projects such as Seeta and Geeta (1972), Saagar (1985), and Ekk Deewana Tha (2012). He received the Padma Shri award in 2013.
