Ralph Brown is an English actor and writer who played Danny the drug dealer in Withnail and I. He appeared in Alien 3 (1992) as the security guard Aaron, The Boat That Rocked (2009) as DJ Bob Silver, and Wayne's World 2 (1993) as super-roadie Del Preston. Brown portrayed pilot Ric Olié in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999) and Henry Clinton in Turn: Washington's Spies. His work as a playwright earned him The Samuel Beckett Award for his play Sanctuary in 1987. He also won awards at the Raindance and Sapporo Film Festivals for his screenplay New Year's Day in 2001.
