Rahat Rahman

Rahat Rahman is a Bangladeshi filmmaker who directed the segment "Jibon's Gun" in the anthology film "Sincerely Yours, Dhaka" (2018). He participated as a director fellow in the Asian Film Academy 2016 in Busan, South Korea, where he collaborated on the short film "hello uncle!". Rahman's work has been recognized internationally, with "Sincerely Yours, Dhaka" being selected as Bangladesh's official submission for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars 2021. His film "Saturday Afternoon" (2019) is also included in the catalogue. Rahman is pursuing a Film Production diploma at Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Canada.
