Rachael Dowling

Rachael Dowling made her film debut as Lily in John Huston's adaptation of James Joyce's The Dead (1987). She has appeared in various notable productions, including Tom Collin's Bogwoman, David Yates' The Tichborne Claimant, and the RTE drama The Treaty alongside Brendan Gleeson. Dowling played the role of Sharon in the long-running Irish television series Glenroe. Her work extends to theatre, where she has performed in productions such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Uncle Vanya. In addition to acting, she directed the award-winning short film Stealth and has worked as a script editor and creative consultant for Irish filmmakers.
