Qaushiq Mukherjee, also known as Q, is an Indian film director known for his controversial cult film Gandu, released in 2010. He has a background in advertising, having worked for twelve years across India, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Mukherjee founded the film production company Overdose Joint and has directed several films, including Ludo (2015), Kaala (2023), and Tehran (2025). His work often explores unconventional themes and narratives.
