Preeti Desai is a British actress who made her acting debut in the film Shor in the City (2011). She gained recognition as the first woman of Indian descent to win the title of Miss Great Britain in 2006. Desai was nominated for Best Lead Actress at the South Asian Rising Star Film Awards in 2012. Additionally, she was featured in the Times of India's 50 Most Desirable Women and People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2011.
