Pratim D. Gupta is an Indian film director who wrote and directed the film Paanch Adhyay in 2011. He began his career as a journalist and film critic, writing for The Telegraph Kolkata and Film Companion. Gupta's notable works include the box office successes Shaheb Bibi Golaam and Maacher Jhol, both of which received critical acclaim. His film Love Aaj Kal Porshu was released in 2020. Gupta's projects also include Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo (2019) and Ahare Mon (2018).
