Poornima Indrajith is an Indian actress who made a notable comeback after a 17-year hiatus with the film "Virus" (2019). She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model and later hosted the music countdown show "Pepsi Top Ten" on Asianet. Poornima has appeared in several Malayalam films, including supporting roles in "Meghamalhar" (2001), "Valliettan" (2000), and "Randam Bhavam" (2001). She has also worked in Tamil cinema, starting with the TV serial "Kolangal." In addition to her acting career, Poornima is a fashion designer and television anchor. She is married to actor Indrajith Sukumaran and has two daughters, including singer Prarthana Indrajith.
