Pierre Tornade is a French actor who made his film debut in Les Truands (1956). Over his career, he appeared in more than 120 films and television productions until 1998. Tornade gained prominence on television with roles in series such as Thierry la Fronde (1963) and Now Where Did the 7th Company Get to? (1973). He was also a notable voice actor, voicing the character Vitalstatistix in several Asterix animated films, including Asterix Versus Caesar (1985). He was named Chevalier of the National Order of Merit in 1996.
