Philip Douglas Jackson is an American former professional basketball player and coach who won 11 NBA championships as a head coach. He played 12 seasons in the NBA as a power forward, winning titles with the New York Knicks in 1970 and 1973. Jackson served as the head coach of the Chicago Bulls from 1989 to 1998, leading them to six championships, and later coached the Los Angeles Lakers, winning five more titles from 1999 to 2004 and again from 2005 to 2011. He holds the record for the most combined championships in NBA history, with a total of 13. Jackson appears in the documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom (2026).
