Pharrell Williams is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter who received two Academy Award nominations, one for Best Original Song for "Happy" from Despicable Me 2 (2013) and another for Best Picture as a producer of Hidden Figures (2016). He gained prominence in the music industry as part of the production duo The Neptunes, formed in the early 1990s with Chad Hugo. Williams has also ventured into acting, lending his voice to characters in films such as The Grinch (2018) and Sing 2 (2021). He has earned 13 Grammy Awards, including three for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
