Peter Friedman is an American actor who made his Broadway debut in The Great God Brown (1972). He has extensive theatre experience, with notable performances in productions such as The Visit (1973), Piaf, and A Soldier's Play (both 1981), and Ragtime (1998). Friedman's film credits include roles in Prince of the City, Single White Female, and I'm Not Rappaport, as well as a part in Someone Like You... (2001). On television, he portrayed George Silver in Brooklyn Bridge and appeared in series like Law & Order and Damages. He has received nominations for prestigious awards, including the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award for his performances.
