Peyman Maadi is an Iranian actor who began his film career as a screenwriter before transitioning to acting. He made his acting debut in About Elly (2009), directed by Asghar Farhadi, and gained international recognition for his role as Nader in A Separation (2011), for which he won the Silver Bear award for Best Actor in Leading Role at the Berlin International Film Festival. His filmography includes notable titles such as 6 Underground (2019) and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016). Maadi graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from Karaj Azad University.
