Paula Poundstone is an American stand-up comedian and actress who performed a series of one-hour HBO comedy specials starting in the late 1980s. She has contributed her commentary on political events, notably during the 1992 presidential election on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Poundstone is also a regular panelist on the NPR quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me. Her film credits include Inside Out (2015).
