Paula Pell is an American writer and actress who worked as a writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 2020. She has received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program, along with six Writers Guild of America Awards for SNL and 30 Rock. Pell appeared in Inside Out (2015) and Wine Country (2019). In 2019, she was awarded the Herb Sargent Award for Comedy Excellence.
