Paul Sorvino was a European-American actor who played Paulie Cicero in Goodfellas (1990). He frequently portrayed authority figures in various productions, including his role as NYPD Sergeant Phil Cerreta in the television series Law & Order. Sorvino also appeared in supporting roles in films such as A Touch of Class, Reds, The Rocketeer, and Nixon. Additionally, he was the father of actors Mira Sorvino and Michael Sorvino.
