Paul Newman was an American actor who won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The Color of Money (1986). He was also a film director, entrepreneur, and professional racing driver, achieving national championships in the Sports Car Club of America. In addition to his acting career, which included notable performances in films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Cool Hand Luke (1967), and The Hustler (1961), he co-founded Newman's Own, donating all profits to charity. Newman lent his voice to the character Doc Hudson in Cars (2006).
