Paul Mazursky was an American film director, screenwriter, and actor. He received five Academy Award nominations for his work on films such as Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969), An Unmarried Woman (1978), and Harry and Tonto (1974). His directing credits include notable titles like Next Stop, Greenwich Village (1976), Moscow on the Hudson (1984), and Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986). Mazursky also worked on the animated feature Antz (1998).
