Paul Heyman is an American entertainment executive and performer who owned and creatively directed the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion from 1993 to 2001. He has been associated with WWE, where he appears as Special Counsel for Roman Reigns on the SmackDown brand. Heyman previously managed under the alias Paul E. Dangerously in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and other promotions. He has managed a record six world champions, including Brock Lesnar and CM Punk. Additionally, he has made appearances in films such as Rollerball (2002). Heyman was recognized as one of Advertising Age's Top 100 Global Marketers.
