Paul Freeman is an English actor who portrayed René Emile Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). He later reprised his connection to the Indiana Jones franchise by playing Frederick Selous in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Freeman's diverse filmography includes roles in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) and the comedy Hot Fuzz (2007), directed by Edgar Wright. He also appeared in Tokyo Trial (2017).
