Paul Dooley is an American character actor who co-created the PBS series The Electric Company. His extensive filmography includes notable roles in Breaking Away (1979), Popeye (1980), and Sixteen Candles (1984). Dooley has also appeared in the Christopher Guest mockumentaries. In addition to his film work, he was involved in the animated feature Cars (2006) and had a role in Insomnia (2002).
