Patricia Arquette is an American actress who made her feature film debut as Kristen Parker in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987). She appeared in True Romance (1993), Ed Wood (1994), and Boyhood (2014), the latter earning her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Arquette portrayed Allison DuBois in Medium (2005–2011), which won her a Primetime Emmy Award. Additionally, she starred in the miniseries Escape at Dannemora (2018), winning a Golden Globe Award, and played Dee Dee Blanchard in The Act (2019), for which she received both a Golden Globe and an Emmy. Her performance in Boyhood remains a significant highlight of her career.
