Pat Roach was a British wrestler who transitioned into acting, making his film debut in Barry Lyndon (1975). Standing at six feet, five inches, he often portrayed enforcers or warriors. He appeared in major films such as Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), where he played a formidable German guard, and in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), where he faced off against Harrison Ford. Roach also appeared in Conan the Destroyer (1984) and Red Sonja (1985). In addition to his film career, he played Brian 'Bomber' Busbridge in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983).
