Partha Pratim Majumder is a Bangladeshi mime artist who is regarded as the pioneer of mime art in Bangladesh. He began his career in the 1970s, initially performing in singing and acting for television and radio. His breakthrough came in 1979, leading to a scholarship in 1981 for professional mime training in France, where he studied under renowned mime artists including Marcel Marceau. Partha gained international recognition for his performances, notably presenting 'Boatman of Padma' at UNESCO Headquarters in 1986, the first mime act performed at the World Heritage Centre. He has also been honored with the Ekushey Padak in 2010 and the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government in 2011. In 2022, he appeared in 'A Holy Conspiracy.'
