Paro Devi is a courtesan who made her film debut in Shikari (1946) as a side-heroine. She performed songs like 'Chupo chupo o marne se darnewalon' and 'Rangeela re, jawani mein sata ke kahan kahan gaya re,' composed by S.D. Burman. Throughout her career, she took on supporting roles in various films, including Do Bhai (1947), Sargam (1950), and Angarey (1954). Her notable performance came in Shabnam (1949), where she starred alongside Dilip Kumar and Kamini Kaushal. In the 1970s, she gained recognition for her roles in films like Mom Ki Gudiya and Mera Ghar Mera Desh. Paro Devi also contributed her singing to several movies.
