Paprika Steen is a Danish actress and film director who won both Best Actress for 'Okay' and Best Supporting Actress for 'Open Hearts' at the Robert Festival in the same year, a feat not achieved by a Danish actress since 1949. She gained prominence through her roles in 'Festen' (1998), 'The Idiots' (1998), and 'Open Hearts' (2002). Steen has also directed films. She appears in 'Nightwatch: Demons Are Forever' (2023) and 'Mango' (2025).
