Paoli Dam is an Indian actress who made her film debut in the Bengali movie Agnipariksha, released in 2012. She gained recognition for her performance in Kaalbela (2009), directed by Goutam Ghose, and later received international acclaim for her role in Chatrak, which was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Dam has appeared in various films including Hate Story (2012), Bulbbul (2020), and Sanjhbati (2019). In addition to her film career, she started with the Bengali television serial Jibon Niye Khela in 2003. She won the Viewers' Choice Award for Best Actress at the Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival in 2016 for her role in Natoker Moto.
