Padmini Kolhapure is an Indian actress who began her career as a child actor in Zindagi (1976) and transitioned to leading roles by the age of 17. She gained prominence in the 1980s with her performance as young Roopa in Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978). Over her extensive career, she has appeared in more than 100 films, including notable titles such as Prem Rog (1982), Woh Saat Din (1983), and Pyaar Jhukta Nahin (1985). Kolhapure has received multiple accolades, including three Filmfare Awards, and has ventured into television and stage productions. She is also the Senior Vice President of the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA).
