Óscar Isaac is an American actor who gained prominence for his role as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019). He made his film debut in a minor role before achieving significant recognition with his performance in The Nativity Story (2006). Isaac earned an AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of José Ramos-Horta in Balibo (2009) and received a Golden Globe nomination for Inside Llewyn Davis (2013).
