Omar Gooding is an American actor who was one of the original hosts of the Nickelodeon show Wild and Crazy Kids from 1990 to 1992. He has appeared in various television series, including Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and Smart Guy, as well as films such as Ghost Dad and Baby Boy. Gooding played a running back named D.H. in the ESPN series Playmakers in 2003 and portrayed the character Odell in the third season of Deadwood. He also starred as Calvin Palmer, Jr. in Showtime's Barbershop: The Series, which is based on the 2002 film. His filmography includes a role in True to the Game 3 (2021).
