Oliver Platt is a Canadian-American actor who made his film debut in Flatliners (1990). He has appeared in a variety of films throughout his career, including Beethoven (1992), Indecent Proposal (1993), and A Time to Kill (1996). Platt's notable performances can also be seen in The Impostors (1998), Pieces of April (2003), and Frost/Nixon (2008). He played significant roles in 2012 and X-Men: First Class (both 2009).
