Oliver MacGreevy was an Irish actor who portrayed brutish villains in British films and television series from the mid-1950s until his retirement in 1980. He played Housemartin in The Ipcress File (1965) and had roles in the first episode of The Prisoner TV series, where he appeared as both the Gardener and the Electrician. His television credits include an episode of Thriller (1975), and on stage, he performed in Tom Murphy's A Whistle in the Dark at Joan Littlewood's Theatre Royal in London in 1961. MacGreevy is featured in No. 1 of the Secret Service (1977).
