Ofelia Medina is a Mexican actress who made her film debut in 1968 with La paz. She appeared in Hollywood with The Big Fix in 1978. Medina portrayed Frida Kahlo in Paul Leduc's film about her in 1984 and later played the same character in the play Cada quien su Frida starting in 2000. In 1991, she received a Genie Award nomination for her performance in the Canadian film Diplomatic Immunity. Her work extends to various theaters around the world. Ofelia Medina appeared in Colombiana in 2011.
