Nutan is an Indian actress who began her career as a child performer in 1950. She gained prominence in the late 1950s and starred in notable films such as Anuraag (1972). Her performances earned her a record five Filmfare Awards for Best Actress, along with the Padma Shri from the Indian Government. Nutan was also crowned Miss India in 1951.
