Noma Dumezweni is a South African-British actress who won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in 2006 for her portrayal of Ruth Younger in A Raisin in the Sun. She received another Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2017 for her performance as Hermione Granger in the original West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a role she also reprised on Broadway. Dumezweni's film credits include The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019), The Kid Who Would Be King (2019), and The Little Mermaid (2023). In 2018, she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
