Noel Clarke is an English actor, director, and screenwriter who wrote and starred in Adulthood (2008). He gained recognition for his role as Mickey Smith in Doctor Who and played Wyman Norris in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Clarke's debut film as a writer was Kidulthood (2006), which he also acted in. His work on Adulthood was particularly successful, grossing over £1 million in its opening weekend. He studied Media at the University of North London and later attended acting classes at London’s Actors Centre. In 2009, Clarke received a BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award.
