Nirut Sirijanya is a Thai actor who gained international recognition for his role as Fong, Lauren's father, in The Hangover Part II (2011). He began his acting career after being encouraged by Terng Stiphuang, with his first television series being Sangsoon. His film debut was in Derby, and he has appeared in notable films such as Ong Bak 2 (2008), Ong Bak 3 (2010), and The King Maker (2005). Nirut received the Suphannahong National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2006. He also served as a judge on the inaugural season of Thailand's Got Talent.
