Nicollette Sheridan is a British-born American actress who gained prominence for her role as Paige Matheson in the CBS soap opera Knots Landing (1986–1993). She began her career as a fashion model and made her film debut in The Sure Thing (1985). Sheridan starred in various television films and series, including Lucky Chances (1990), Virus (1995), and the popular ABC series Desperate Housewives (2004–2009), where she portrayed Edie Britt and received a Golden Globe nomination. Her film credits include Noises Off (1992), Spy Hard (1996), and Beverly Hills Ninja (1997). In 2018, she played Alexis Carrington in the Dynasty reboot on The CW.
