Nicole Kidman is an Australian and American actress who won an Academy Award for her role as Virginia Woolf in The Hours (2002). She began her career in Australia with films like Bush Christmas and BMX Bandits in 1983, gaining international fame with her performance in Days of Thunder (1990). Kidman has starred in a variety of films, including Batman Forever (1995), The Others (2001), Lion (2016), and The Northman (2022). In addition to her film work, she has received acclaim for her television roles, particularly in Big Little Lies (2017–2019), for which she earned two Primetime Emmy Awards.
