Nick Tate is an Australian actor who gained prominence for portraying Eagle pilot Alan Carter in the 1970s science fiction series Space: 1999. His career began with the television series My Brother Jack, followed by a notable role in the musical The Canterbury Tales. Tate also appeared in the TV series Dynasty alongside his father, John Tate. His film career includes significant performances in The Devil's Playground, The Year My Voice Broke, and Richard Attenborough's Cry Freedom. Additionally, he has made guest appearances on popular series like The X-Files and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
