Nicholas Saputra is an Indonesian actor who gained prominence for his role as Rangga in Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (2002). His portrayal of activist Soe Hok Gie in Gie (2005) earned him the Citra Award for Best Actor at the Indonesian Film Festival. Saputra's filmography includes notable works such as Janji Joni (2005), 3 Hari untuk Selamanya (2007), Aruna & Lidahnya (2018), and Paranoia (2021). In addition to acting, he is a producer and environmental advocate, focusing on nature conservation. Saputra also holds a degree in architecture from the University of Indonesia and has served as a VJ for Channel V Asia since 2007.
