Nicholas Asbury is a British actor who won an Olivier Award as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's complete cycle of Shakespeare's history plays in 2009. He has portrayed notable characters such as Winston Churchill in the BBC's 37 Days and Mr. Angel in Hugh Laurie's Why Didn't They Ask Evans?. Asbury's television credits include roles in the BAFTA award-winning Alma's Not Normal, The Inbetweeners, and Sherlock. He has also been involved with the all-male Shakespearean troupe Propeller, where he not only acted but also composed music. His first book, Exit Pursued by a Badger, chronicles his experiences with the RSC and received the Michael Meyer Award in 2011. Asbury appeared in Brian and Charles (2022).
