Nia Long is an American actress who made her film debut in The B.R.A.T Patrol (1986). She gained prominence for her role as Beulah "Lisa" Wilkes on the television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which she portrayed from 1994 to 1995. Long has appeared in several notable films, including Soul Food (1997), Love Jones (1997), and Boiler Room (2000). Her work in the film Big Momma's House (2000) further solidified her career, and she reprised her role in the sequel, Big Momma's House 2 (2006). Long received a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 2004 for her performance on Third Watch. She directed Yolanda Adams's music video for "This Too Shall Pass."
