ND Stevenson is an American cartoonist and animation producer who created and served as showrunner for the animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, which aired from 2018 to 2020. The fantasy webcomic Nimona was later published as a graphic novel and adapted into an animated film in 2023. Stevenson worked on the comic series Lumberjanes and has received multiple Eisner Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, and a GLAAD Media Award. He has openly discussed his experiences as a non-binary individual and transgender issues in works like The Fire Never Goes Out.
