Natasha Richardson was an English actress who received a Tony Award for her role as Sally Bowles in the 1998 Broadway revival of Cabaret. A member of the renowned Redgrave family, she was the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Richardson. Her film career included significant roles in Patty Hearst (1988), The Handmaid's Tale (1990), Nell (1994), The Parent Trap (1998), and Maid in Manhattan (2002). Richardson made her Broadway debut in 1993 with a performance in Anna Christie, for which she earned a Theatre World Award. She was married to Liam Neeson from 1994 until her untimely death in 2009 following a skiing accident.
