Nargis is an Indian film actress who starred in Shree 420 (1955). Her career spanned from the 1940s to the 1960s, during which she performed in a variety of genres, including screwball comedies and literary dramas. In 1958, she received the Padma Shri, one of India's highest civilian honors, for her work in cinema. She is regarded as one of the greatest actresses in Hindi film history.
